After carrying out the scan, medical personnel reportedly informed her that the baby appeared to have no nose and was not breathing properly.

The report left her shaken, and she immediately contacted her husband, Anselem Opara, to tell him what she had been told.
Rather than proceed with additional tests, her husband encouraged her to remain calm and not be overwhelmed by the medical findings.
Judikay said they decided not to carry out the recommended examination.
Instead, they continued with the pregnancy while holding on to their faith and believing that their child would be born healthy.
In her words: “At 34 weeks, I traveled to Canada to have my baby, and I went for a scan. They said she did not have a nose and that I would need to do a Down syndrome test, and also that she was not breathing. I called my husband, and he said I should tear the report and that we were not going to do any test.”

The singer explained that the period was especially difficult because she and her family had waited several years before expecting their second child.
The worrying report therefore created fear and uncertainty at a time when they were looking forward to welcoming a new addition to their family.
Despite the concerns raised during the scan, the pregnancy eventually reached a successful conclusion. Judikay delivered her baby safely, and the child was born alive and well.
She revealed that after the birth, doctors discovered that the baby’s umbilical cord had been wrapped around her neck twice while still in the womb.
Even with that complication, the delivery was successful and both mother and child came through safely.
The gospel artiste described the experience as one of the most challenging moments she and her family had faced.
Looking back, she said the birth of her daughter became a testimony of hope after months of anxiety and uncertainty.
Judikay and her husband, Anselem Opara, are parents to two children, with their daughter becoming the newest member of the family following the successful delivery.
