Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq on Thursday received the newly appointed Commissioner of Police for Kwara State, CP Ojo Adekimi, at the Government House in Ilorin.
During the courtesy visit, Governor AbdulRazaq reaffirmed his administration’s commitment to supporting the Kwara State Police Command.
He emphasised the government’s resolve to maintain the state’s reputation as one of the most peaceful in the country.

He expressed confidence in the leadership of CP Adekimi and pledged continued collaboration to ensure the security and well-being of all residents.
In his remarks, CP Adekimi assured the governor of the command’s maximum cooperation, stating that the police under his watch would work diligently to safeguard the peace that has contributed to Kwara’s steady development.
CP Adekimi is no stranger to the state, having previously served in various capacities within the Kwara State Command prior to his promotion to Commissioner of Police.
