Takuro mentioned that the release of funds aims to pay retirees’ gratuities in full rather than in installments. He emphasized that Governor Aiyedatiwa is attentive to the needs of retired civil servants.

He stated, ā€œThe first tranche of the bulk payment of gratuity arrears was paid late last year by the immediate past governor, Oluwarotimi Akeredolu. In continuation of this effort, Lucky Ayedatiwa, has decided not only to maintain this trend but also to make it a quarterly occurrence. He has been diligent in fulfilling his responsibilities regarding the payment of pensions, workers’ salaries, and other entitlements.ā€

He encouraged the retirees and the entire workforce to support the administration led by Aiyedatiwa.
