Nigerian reality stars, Neo and Venita Akpofure emerged winners of the “best dressed category”- for male and female at the cultural day event that kicks off the 2024 Africa Magic Viewers Choice Awards (AMVCA).
The 10th edition of the AMVCAs would be taking place on Saturday, May 11 in Lagos state, Nigeria. The aim and objective of the academy award is to celebrate the contribution of African actors, cinematographers and producers in the movie industry.

Prior to the commencement of the main event on Saturday night, the cultural day event took place on Friday, May 10 to acknowledge the beauty and elegance of African culture and tradition. Additionally, the cultural day has been set aside to display the opulence and grace of celebrities from across Africa.
Stars from across Nigeria and other parts of Africa were at the event. Notable superstars who were at the event include the following- Liquorose, Kunle Remi, Tana Adelana, Saga, Iyabo Ojo, Bisola Aiyeola, to name a few.

Equally, the 2024 AMVCA award night will see the return of IK Osakioduwa as host and live performances by talented music stars.
The 10th AMVCA will see winners emerge from 25 categories comprising 16 non-voting, nine audience voting categories, and recipients of two recognition awards – Lifetime Achievement and Trailblazer Awards.
