She said that counseling, therapy, and prayer became very important in helping them manage the struggles of marriage.
According to her, a major turning point was Teddy A’s decision to give his life to Christ, which she said brought peace and made their bond stronger.
Bambam also shared that pregnancy and the period after childbirth came with challenges that left her emotionally unsettled.
Despite the struggles, she described marriage as a learning process that continues to make her and her husband fall in love with each other repeatedly as they overcome trials.
Looking back, she said her greatest joy is seeing her husband build a personal relationship with God, which she believes has added sweetness to their marriage.
In her advice to singles, Bambam urged them to avoid intimacy before marriage, to go for counseling, and to make sure they are stable emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually before tying the knot.
She added that marriage will always come with tests, but with God at the center, every challenge becomes an opportunity for growth.
She said: “I began to evolve as a woman, and he too was discovering himself. Our differences started to clash, and many times we asked ourselves why we were even here. But I held on to God and His promises for my marriage.
“My greatest joy through the journey has been him having a personal relationship with God. That has been the sweetener.
“Don’t have sex until you’re married. Seek counseling, and make sure you are emotionally, mentally, physically, and spiritually stable before taking the step.”
