“Dan Foster’s voice was a huge part of my growing up. His voice on Cool FM. His playfulness. His kindness. Long before I saw what he looked like, his voice communicated his personality in a way no picture needed to. This one is one loss too many. This is a really sad day.

“Cool candid phone. Chocolat Royale. Cool link. The big dog Santa give away. Etc. I still have Dan Foster’s voice from his morning run on Cool FM back in the 2000s in my head. That was the only time I didn’t mind that the OAP was talking instead of playing music. & his selections?

“When Dan Foster left Cool FM I was shocked because I didn’t even know there was a difference between Dan Foster and Cool FM. He was Cool FM. By then though, I had stopped doing regular radio.”
