Kunle Afolayan announced new film

Actor and filmmaker, Kunle Afolayan, announced the launch of his new movie on September 30. This coincided with his 44th birthday. While celebrating himself on his birthday, he announced his new projects.

He wrote on his Instagram page, “Adekunle Ayodeji Akande Omo Afolayan. I thank you Lord for everything. My birthday gift to myself is the birth of @kap_hub and SWALLOW the movie.

“Official opening is today and Swallow launches on Netflix tomorrow. Thank you to all you guys for being part of my life and my story.”

White Money won Big Brother Naija Season 6

The sixth season of Big Brother Naija reality show ended on Sunday with White Money named as the winner. The show had housemates who gave viewers entertainment for 10 weeks as they battled for the prize of 90 million Naira.

Other housemates who made it to the final were Liquorose, Pere, Cross, Angel, and Emmanuel. The final show had some amazing performances from artistes such as Made Kuti and Laycon. The winner also went home with a brand new car.

Yemi Alade bought mum car for her birthday

Popular singer, Yemi Alade, bought her mother a new car to mark her birthday last Friday. She also wrote a heart-felt note on her Instagram page to celebrate her mum on her special day.

The post read, “I’m so thankful that you chose me, birthed me, nurtured me, love me, bless me, tolerate me, understand me, guide me.

“I just want to shower you with love and praises for as long as God is on the throne in our lives. Happy birthday Mummy @helenmamaafrica.”

Former BBN housemate, Tochi, got a car gift

Tochi, a former housemate of Big Brother Naija reality TV show was gifted with a brand new Toyota Hilux truck on Saturday. He excitedly shared photos of the truck with the caption, “Man no be God!!! A failure today!!! A winner tomorrow. He works in mysterious ways!!”

One of his friends who presented the gift to him said that Tochi is strategic about success. It was one of the reasons they decided to give him the car gift.

Rapper MI marked his 40th birthday

Nigeria’s foremost rap artiste, Jude Abaga, popularly known as MI turned 40 on October 4. While celebrating himself on his Instagram page, the rapper said that he is set to release a song.
He said, “Today I cross a personally joyful milestone: Henceforth, (the adages promise) life will begin. Without knowing it, that was my recent process to arrive here at this moment today. Shedding the old, and making way for the new.

“I’m grateful for the walk here. I look around, locking eyes with all you who have refused to leave, adamant that I am worth the ride. And you are not wrong, but I am worth it because of you. If, for the road ahead, I can count on you… then my friends… let us forge ahead!! Bring it on.. let life begin!!!” (sic).

Besides, he made a video snippet of the song with the caption, “Anointed. The song is dropping 2022. Cut by me.”
