Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu has awarded N10 million to Olaniyi Mubaraq the best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU).
Governor Sanwo-Olu announced this on Thursday during the university’s 27th convocation grand finale in Lagos.
Mr Sanwo-Olu’s Senior Special Assistant on New Media, Jubril Gawat on his X page said Olaniyi Olawale graduated with a CGPA of 4.98.

He tweeted: “Governor of Lagos State, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu has announced a token of Ten Million Naira (10,000,000) for the overall best graduating student of Lagos State University (LASU), Olaniyi Mubaraq Olawale, Accounting Education, who graduated with a CGPA of 4.98.
“Mr Governor made this announcement today at the Lagos State University (LASU) Grand Finale of the 27th Convocation Ceremony.”
