Veteran Nigerian rapper, Eedris Abdulkareem has slammed the senior pastor and General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor E.A. Adeboye for failing to condemn the president of the nation, Bola Ahmed Tinubu following the downtrodden state of the economy.
Abdulkareem who is renowned for calling out the leadership of the state through his music mentioned that Pastor E.A. Adeboye sternly criticized the leadership of one-time president, Goodluck Ebele Jonathan during his regime, albeit, he has failed to call out Nigeria’s current president despite the debacle the nation is undergoing.

In a diss song titled, ‘Emilokan’, Abdulkareem addressed the RCCG pastor and also spoke about the suffering of Nigerians.
In a verse, Abdulkareem accused Pastor Adeboye of hypocrisy, saying he protested against bad governance during former President Goodlcuk Jonathan’s regime but now claiming “Nigeria has spiritual problems” under Tinubu.
He urged the clergyman to stage a one-million-man protest against President Tinubu’s government as he did during Jonathan’s regime.
The veteran musician said it was high time Pastor Adeboye spoke truth to power.
“Where our daddy, Pastor Adeboye? During Goodlcuk Jonathan[‘s regime], your voice was so loud. You even vowed to stage a one-million-man march. Hunger and hardship under Tinubu government, you say Nigeria get spiritual problems,” he raps.
“Baba, we need your one million disciples to protest against President Tinubu government just the way you protested against President Jonathan. Daddy, abi legs don dey pain your disciples?
“In fact, this na very big hypocrisy. It’s time for you to speak the truth to power because hunger wan kill Nigerians.”
