Turkish giants Galatasaray seem set to land Super Eagles and Napoli striker Victor Osimhen on a season-long loan agreement.
The latest development was revealed on Monday afternoon by Sky Italia and fooball journalist Fabrizio Romano.
In a social media post, Fabrizio stayed that Galatasaray “have agreed to cover €9/10m as salary of Victor Osimhen until the end of the season.”

He went further to write that the deal agreed with Napoli “does NOT include any buy option/obligation clause.” All parties are now waiting for the striker’s consent so as to go ahead with the deal.
Galatasaray‘s delegation are also expected to meet with Osimhen in Napoli in the coming hours for “final green light to the move.”
The 25-year-old has been a subject of intense transfer speculation this summer window with Saudi Arabian club Ah-Ahli and English outfit Chelsea interested in the striker.
However, Ivan Toney joined Ah-Ahli on transfer deadline day – last Friday – as the Saudi side couldn’t sign Osimhen.
Discussions with Chelsea also broke down due to inability of the club and Osimhen to agree on a wage structure.
Earlier, Napoli confirmed they have no plans to reintegrate Osimhen in the squad. Both manager Antonio Conte and the club management shared the decision.
“No player will be reintegrated”, Conte said about the possibility of Osimhen being reintegrated at some point.
“Those who are out of the project will remain out of the project. We made our choices and work in one direction all together”.
