The Christian power couple, the Roberts, are celebrating their 10th year wedding anniversary yesterday. The couple announced this by posting a wedding documentary video on their Instagram pages.
“In 2014, Roberts was introduced to her now-husband, Touré Roberts, through a friend shortly after the release of “Lost & Found.” They met for breakfast. “I was kind of blown away by her because she didn’t look the way I expected her to look,” Touré remembers. “She wasn’t this church girl.”- Los Angeles Times, 2022.

Sarah Jakes Roberts, daughter of The Potter’s House Senior Pastor, T.D Jakes got married to Toure Roberts in 2014 two years after she split from her ex husband Robert Henson. It is undeniable that Toure and Sarah are quite the power couple despite the significant age difference of sixteen years. Love truly knows no bounds.
Touré is unapologetic in showing his “bride” affection and even displays this on camera. The founder of the influential congregation, ONE is quite supportive of his wife in her dealings. Sarah Jakes Roberts is the convener of one of the biggest faith based women conventions, Woman Evolve. Woman Evolve 2024 witnessed the couple show their devotion to ministry as well as their unity in their dealings.
The chemistry between the duo is unexplainable despite Sarah’s position as a powerful woman in ministry, one can also sense her submission to her husband in her dealings.
The marriage is blessed with a daughter though the couple has six children altogether, three from Touré previous marriage and two from Sarah previous marriage. This couple is one of the Christian couples in the frontline of spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ.
