Kwara State Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq has initiated the rehabilitation and upgrading of the Roundabout Omoda – Oja Oba road.
In a statement released on Thursday, Olayinka Fafoluyi, the Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the governor, described the project as part of the administration’s rural-urban renewal initiative, which began five years ago.
Fafoluyi highlighted that the scheme has connected several roads across the state over the years through the construction of new roads and the rehabilitation and upgrading of deteriorated ones.

He noted that this strategic effort has not only improved vehicular movement but has also significantly boosted the local economy statewide.
“Meanwhile, the bus palliatives Governor Abdulrazaq approved for residents of the State to ease the temporary economic challenges caused by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s economic reforms have commenced operations.”
