Another edition of the African Cultural Gala Night event will be held in London on the 6th of October, 2023 and it is taking place at Hilton Croydon, CR9 4RR.
The event is hosted and organised by cultural icon and celebrity Talking drummer, Ayan De First.
History of ACGN
The African Cultural Gala Night (ACGN) event was first launched in 2019, and it involves the playing of melodious and mesmerising rhythms associated with African dance and music which embodies traditional African beliefs, values, norms, and serve as a means of communicating knowledge and tradition from one generation to another.

The Importance of the ACGN Event
The African Cultural Gala Night event is unique to Africans in diaspora, and present Africans and the friends of Africa the deserved opportunity to celebrate authentic African culture in a manner that showcases the true image of Africa. It also gives British African youths a great opportunity to experience, connect with, and embrace their cultural heritage in a corporate way.

The event will feature a variety of dance troops and entertainers from across the African continent and is expected to attract about 400 people from across the United Kingdom, including Diplomats, politicians, eminent personalities and influential community leaders.
According to the the planning committee of this year’s ACGN event, “We are bringing a West End Themed show into our own community and neighbourhood, and we urge you to join us, and would be delighted if you can partner with us.”
