Former Juventus coach, Andrea Pirlo has been appointed as new head coach of Turkish side Fatih Karagümrük SK.
This is another chapter for the former Italy international having had his first experience with Juventus last year.
The Istanbul based Turkish Süper Lig club finished 2021-22 season at the eight position in the standings.
It is expected that Pirlo will be hoping to take them to a higher place ahead of next season.

According to a statement from the club, Pirlo has signed a one-year deal and will be presented on Tuesday.
The statement reads: “The world-famous footballer recently coached Juventus, one of the most important clubs in Europe.
“Having also had Champions League experience with Juventus, Pirlo signed the contract that made him a member of Karagumruk for one year, starting on 1 July.”
“Pirlo’s press conference will be held on Tuesday, June 14, and the place and time will be announced later by our club. We welcome our coach and wish him success.”

The fans will be looking forward to hearing Pirlo speak in his first confrence on Tuesday as he embark on this journey.
