Nigerian recording artiste, Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known as Ayra Starr, has been included in this year’s 21 Under 21 ranking by American music magazine Billboard.
The 20-year-old was the only African artist on the 2023 list released on Monday via the Billboard website.
She made the chart by garnering 138.2 million on-demand streams in the US.
Sensational youngsters such as Olivia Rodrigo, The Kid Laroi, D4vd, and Gayle all made the list.
Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, known professionally as Ayra Starr, is a Beninese-born Nigerian singer. She began a fashion career at the age of 16 with Quove Model Management before deciding to pursue a career in music.
