The US Coast Guard confirmed in a press conference on Thursday afternoon that debris found in the atlantic ocean is that of the missing Titan submersible which is claimed to have imploded near the wreckage of the Titanic.

The Titanic-bound submersible went missing on Sunday with five people on board.

The tail cone and other debris from the missing Titan submersible were found about 1,600 feet from the bow of the Titanic with all 5 men on board presumed dead.
