Nigerian recording artiste, Davido lost his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke in November 2022. The singer has expressed suffering heartache following the demise of his son whom he had with his wife (then girlfriend), Chioma Rowland.

The Nigerian singer-songwriter stated that this is the most heart wrenching Father’s Day he has experienced due to the difficulty of losing a child.

Taking to Instagram on Father’s Day, June 18, Davido wrote on Instagram,

“Difficult Father’s Day for me…,” he wrote.

“But I thank God for strength,” he added. Davido went further to write, “Some days will be like this.”

Earlier, Davido revealed that he is currently building a house for his wife, Chioma and himself at Eko Atlantic City, Lagos state.

He said, “Real estate right now, I will say in Lagos. People have really been building some new dope infrastructures. Yeah, a very good investment, I’m telling you.

“You can buy a place for like $1.5 million…But you sell it for like $4 million. I will tell you, it is a very good investment. My new house I’m building now, for me and my wife, is by the beach; it’s at Eko Atlantic [city]. It’s quiet dope. A lot of good buildings. Amazing.”
