President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has appointed the immediate past governor of Rivers State, Nyesom Wike as the Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abuja. 

Tinubu also appointed the immediate past governor of Ebonyi State, Dave Umahi as Minister of Works, and Yusuf Sununu as Minister of Education.

The portfolios as released by the Presidency on Wednesday are as follows: Mohammed Idris Malagi – Minister of Information, Tahir Mamman – Minister of Education, Yusuf Sununu – Minister of Education, Nyesom Wike – FCT, Mohammed Badaru – Defence, Ahmed Dangiwa – Housing and Urban Development, and Simon Lalong Labour and Employment.
