Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has forwarded the names of twelve news commissioners to the House of Assembly for confirmation.

In a letter signed by the Secretary to the State Government, Tayo Oluwatuyi, the list of the nominees was on Wednesday addressed to the Speaker of the House of Assembly, Olamide Oladiji. 

Aiyedatiwa’s Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan in a statement said the nominees are: Pastor Segun Ayerin, Olaolu Akindolire, Alhaji Hamidu Takuro, Dr. Banji Ajaka, Boye Ologbese, and Sunday Akinwalere.

Others are Deaconess Lola Fagbemi, Saka Yusuf Ogunleye,  Rasheed Badmus, Olayato Aribo—Adewale Akinlosotu, and Barr. Gbenga Olaniyi.

Governor Aiyedatiwa urged the House of Assembly to give expedited consideration to the confirmation of the nominees.
