On Thursday, August 31, News Round The Clock gathered that Nigerian actress, Osas Ighodaro and American entertainer, Terrence J will serve as the anchors of the coming 2023 Headies Award ceremony.

The 16th edition of the Headies award ceremony has been scheduled to take place at the Cobb Energy Performing Arts Centre in Atlanta, USA, on Sunday, September 3rd, 2023.

The same venue hosted the 15th edition last year when Headies Awards held outside Nigeria for the first time.

Making the announcement via their official Instagram platform, the Headies award organizers wrote,

@the_headies is proud to announce its host for the 16th edition of Africa’s Global Awards for Afrobeats Music –

The beautiful, multi-talented award winning actress, host, producer and humanitarian; our very own Osas Ighodaro (@officialosas ) and she will be joined on stage by American actor, Tv presenter and model Terrence J (@terrencej )”

It would be recalled that Burna Boy led the nominations for this year’s event with 10 nominations, including African artiste of the year, best Afrobeats album, best male artiste and song of the year.

Asake, Fireboy DML, Ayra Starr, Oxlade, Johnny Drille, Blaqbonez, Spyro, Seyi Vibez, KCee and Victony are set to perform at the ceremony.
