Grammy-winning Afrobeats sensation, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid, has disclosed the motivation behind his foray into acting. 

Earlier, News Round The Clock (NRTC), reported that the singer officially declared a temporary hiatus from the music scene to explore his newfound passion for acting. 

In a candid revelation on his Instagram story, Wizkid expressed his desire to engage in diverse on-screen experiences, including kissing scenes, wielding guns, and delivering impactful.

He stated his contemplation of extending his time away from the studio from three or four years to a duration of six years.

He wrote in Pidgin, “Shebi I tell una I one dey act film!…I just want dey kiss and shoot a gun for a movie. Daz all!! Loving every bit of this holiday. Might extend to six years.”

“Abeg na me go pick who I go kiss o. All this ppl wey Dey my dm gerrout! Yes and I want dey slap ppl for film…nah my hidden talent be dat,” Wizkid wrote.
