Barcelona head coach Xavi Hernandez has said the club ‘can’t compete’ against Ousmane Dembele’s imminent departure from the club.
The Barcelona legend stated that Paris Saint-Germain’s bid for the 27-year-old French player is “huge and out of the market.”
“It hurts me because we took care of him to make him happy here. But we can’t compete, he’s leaving,” Xavi said on Dembele.

“I asked Dembélé the real reason behind this choice to join PSG, he was happy here… well, he didn’t answer in clear way.
“Probably it’s personal reason,” Xavi told @tv3cat.
Xavi said the club needs a pure right back as, according to him, the Catalans need to reinforce the squad.
