Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Balogun, aka Wizkid, has lost his mother, Mrs Jane Dolapo Balogun. 

Wizkid’s mummy passed away at around 1.30 am, Friday 18th of August, 2023. 

Wizkid Manager, Sunday Are confirmed the incident to newsmen in the early hours of Friday.

Apart from Wizkid, the late Mrs Balogun also gave birth to two other children, Yetunde Balogun and Lade Balogun.

As of press time, fans of the superstar have taken to their social media handles to condole with him.
