Juventus midfielder and 2018 World Cup winner, Paul Pogba has been handed a four-year ban from football, NRTC can confirm.

In December, the former Manchester United player was found guilty of testing positive for testosterone. It was reportedly discovered in his body after he performed a routine drug test following Juventus’ win over Udinese on 20 August.

During his time at Old Trafford, the 30-year-old made 223 appearances for United, scoring 39 goals and creating 51 assists. Pogba could now be sidelined from football-related activities until 2028.

There is a high possibility that the ban could mark a sorry end to Pogba’s football career. The creative midfielder will be close to 35 by the time his ban is over.

Pogba fought to prove his innocence when he was initially deemed to have failed the test but has lost.
