Kylian Mbappe is set to make his debut for Real Madrid in the upcoming UEFA Super Cup clash against Atalanta.

During his press conference, Mbappe expressed his eagerness to play in the Super Cup match if fit. His recent participation in the European Championship in Germany saw him suffer a painful nose injury.
Consequently, he was required to wear a protective mask for several matches. This injury had raised concerns that his Real Madrid debut might be delayed if surgery were necessary.
However, Spanish outlet AS reported that Mbappe recently met with Real Madrid’s medical team, who confirmed that surgery would not be required. This positive development clears the way for Mbappe to feature in the Super Cup match against Atalanta.

Atalanta secured their spot in the Super Cup by winning the Europa League. They triumphed over Xabi Alonso’s Bayer Leverkusen in the final, with Nigerian star player Ademola Lookman scoring a memorable hat-trick.
