Fast rising Nigerian rapper, Odumodu Blvck has disclosed he turned down the opportunity to perform at the coming 2023 presidential inauguration.

The inauguration for the incoming president of the Federal republic of Nigeria, Bola Ahmed Tinubu has been scheduled to take place in Abuja on Monday, May 29.

Speaking via his Twitter platform, the ‘Declan Rice’ crooner revealed Tinubu’s inauguration team reached out to him to perform at the national event.

The rapper disclosed that he turned down the opportunity before adding that the inauguration team should have carried out their research prior to reaching out to him.

Here is what he wrote on his Twitter account, “They tried to get me to perform at the inauguration, They did not do their research.”

Earlier, News Round The Clock reported that President Muhammadu Buhari conferred the President-elect, Bola Tinubu, and Vice President-elect, Kashim Shettima with the National Honours of the Grand Commander of the Order of the Federal Republic (GCFR) and Grand Commander of Order of the Niger (GCON) respectively.
