On the occasion of the International Day of the Girl Child, Lagos State Governor, Mr Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has reiterated his administration’s unwavering dedication to the education, safety, and overall welfare of the girl child.

Mr. Sanwo-Olu earnestly urges unity in the collective effort to empower, inspire, and champion the well-being of the girl child.

Taking to his social media platforms, the governor expressed that within the vibrant heart of Lagos, the girl child radiates with dreams and aspirations, tirelessly reaching for the light.

He said: ‘Celebrating the Girl Child of Lagos on International Day of the Girl Child. On this special day, let’s all unite, to empower, inspire, and do what’s right.

‘Today, on International Day of the Girl Child, let’s reaffirm our commitment to their education, safety, and well-being.’

‘Empowered girls become strong women, and together, we’ll build a stronger Lagos,’ Mr Sanwo-Olu added.
