Lagos State Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu on Monday reaffirmed his administration’s dedication to the education sector.
Governor Sanwo-Olu in a post on his X page emphasised his administration commitment to providing substantial investments, funding, and infrastructure to bolster the sector.
The governor added that his administration is working in partnership with TeachForNigeria to build a sustainable five-year programme to domesticate the initiative in Lagos State as the TeachForLagos project.

“The strides we are making with education in Lagos can only be achieved because education remains a top priority for our administration.
“I spoke about our efforts to recruit 275 Fellows into the teaching profession through the TeachForNigeria initiative across the State, aiming to ensure that no child is left behind in education.
“I also praised the commitment and contributions of the TeachForNigeria Fellows for their successes achieved in the education sector.”
