Tacha Akide has explained why she will not be participating in the 2023 Big Brother Naija Allstars contest.
The Nigerian reality star was on Sunday, July 23 not listed among the 20 contestants for the recently commenced Big Brother Allstars competition.
It would be recalled that the 8th season of the popular Nigerian reality show kicked off on Sunday evening.
Speaking about her absence on Twitter, Tacha who participated in the 2023 Big Brother Naija Pepper Dem edition mentioned that her ‘price has gone up’.

The Nigerian reality star stated this after former BBN housemate, Mike Edwards mentioned her as the ex-housemate he would have loved to see on the All Stars’ edition.
Popular media personality, Toke Makinwa had tweeted, “Who do you think should have been added to the all stars line up? What are your thoughts? #BBNaijaAllStars” to which Mike replied, “Tacha tacha tacha.”
Quoting Mike’s tweet, the Port Harcourt reality star wrote, “Dem no won pay money nau! Price went up.”
