Former U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday shared his much-anticipated summer playlist for 2024 on X (formerly Twitter).

The playlist, which has become an annual tradition, once again highlights Obama’s diverse musical tastes, featuring a wide array of genres and artists from around the globe.

This year’s playlist includes songs from two of Nigeria’s biggest music stars: Tems and Rema. Tems’ track “Love Me Jeje” and Rema’s “Yayo” are among the selected tunes that caught Obama’s ear this summer.

In his post, Obama remarked, “With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that I’ve been listening to lately – and it wouldn’t be my playlist if it didn’t include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!”
