Real Madrid

REAL MADRID

Los Blancos as they are fondly called. It is not a surprise that they sit atop the list. Real Madrid is the most successful football club in Europe- by a wide margin.

The Spanish kings have 14 UEFA Champions League trophies, 35Laliga triumphs, and 19 Copa Del Rey titles as the icing on their big cake.

Generally, the clubs spell royalty, and who would not want to be associated with royalty?

They boast of 126million followers on Instagram, 112million on Facebook, and 9.7 million followers on Tiktok.

FC Barcelona

BARCELONA

Barcelona was always second-fiddle to Real Madrid in Spain, and they have been able to break past that barrier.

The Blaugrana have enjoyed a lot of successes in the last two decades and it has coincided with the advent of social media. It is not a coincidence that the Catalunya giants sit just below their Madrid rivals.

Barcelona has 112million followers on Instagram, 103million on Facebook, and 12.7million on Tiktok.

Manchester United

MANCHESTER UNITED

The English clubs are not left out. Manchester United are the most successful club in England despite their inability to win a Premier League since 2013 when Sir Alex Ferguson left the club.

The Red Devils have a special appeal to fans, and they milk it as much as possible securing some of the most lucrative deals in England.

Manchester United have also gained a lot of followers on Social media because of their successes in the last decade. The Red Devils have 61.2million followers on Instagram, 75million on Facebook, and 12.2million on Tiktok.

Chelsea

CHELSEA

The Londoners also boast of large followership. Chelsea’s major successes have come in the last two decades since Russian Roman Abramovich took over the reins of the club.

Chelsea has 36.1million followers on Instagram, 49million on Facebook, and 5.6million on Tiktok.

Arsenal

ARSENAL

The Gunners are one of the more traditional English sides.

They have failed to win the Premier League since 2004, and that may be the reason that they are not in a higher position on this list.

Still, the Gunners are a force to reckon with in football, as they boast of large followership, especially in Nigeria.

Their intricate style and enticing football have driven a lot of appeals, especially from the younger generation.

Arsenal has 23.2million followers on Instagram, 37.7million on Facebook, and 1.8million on Tiktok.
