Gemini now supports scheduled actions, automating email summaries, calendar event reports, sports updates, and reminders.
According to Google, they rolled out Scheduled Actions for Gemini AI Pro and Ultra subscribers via a press release.
Users can schedule specific prompts at chosen times or convert existing prompts into recurring actions within the app settings page.
Examples include morning email summaries, live sports scores, calendar overviews, weekly blog prompts, and one time event summaries via AI.
All scheduled actions appear on a new settings page, where users can edit times, modify prompts, or delete actions easily.
This rollout extends beyond individuals, also covering qualifying Google Workspace business and education subscribers alongside Pro and Ultra users.
Google announced Scheduled Actions during I O 2025 and has initiated a phased release to Android and iOS devices worldwide.
Unlike ChatGPT, Gemini’s scheduling is embedded in the Workspace environment, granting productivity gains across Gmail, Calendar, Docs, and more.
