Nollywood actress Adebimpe Oyebade, popularly known as Mo Bimpe, has warned that she may take legal action against those spreading a false story about the paternity of one of her newborn triplets.

The actress dismissed the report as completely untrue and accused online trolls of targeting her family with fabricated claims.

The controversy began after an X user, identified as @iam_Mardiyyah, shared a post claiming that Mo Bimpe’s husband, actor Lateef Adedimeji, had filed for divorce following an alleged paternity issue involving their triplets.

The post also alleged that doctors at Ilorin General Hospital refused to accept Lateef’s blood donation for one of the babies because of a blood group mismatch, leading to a DNA test which supposedly showed that he was not the children’s biological father.

She said she had remained silent despite being targeted by online trolls for years, but made it clear that dragging her children into false stories had crossed the line.

Mo Bimpe warned those behind the report not to expect sympathy if she decides to pursue legal action against them.

She said she was prepared to take every lawful step necessary to protect herself and her family from the spread of false information.

The actress also condemned the use of edited or AI-generated images alongside what she described as completely fabricated stories.

She expressed disappointment that such content was being shared online and insisted that those responsible would be held accountable if the attacks continued.

She wrote: “I don’t want to hear justice for whatever your stupid name is by the time I am ready for you! You silly trolls have constantly trolled me on these platforms for years & I’ve been quiet, but what I wouldn’t take is you bringing your stupidity to my children!!! Be warned! I won’t hesitate to take the right action if need be.

“It’s the nerve to post fake/AI pictures together with fabricated lies for me! Such effrontery!”
