Oyo State Governor, Seyi Makinde, has gifted a brand-new Sports Utility Vehicle (SUV) to gospel singer and broadcaster, Yinka Ayefele, days after a fire incident destroyed parts of the Fresh FM Music House in Ibadan.

The fire, which broke out last Friday, razed sections of the popular radio station, destroying property worth millions of naira.

During a brief ceremony held in Ibadan on Tuesday, Governor Makinde, represented by the Commissioner for Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters, Otunba Ademola Ojo, presented the car to Ayefele.

The governor commended the musician for his resilience and immense contributions to entertainment and media development in Oyo State and across Nigeria.

Ayefele, who has been grappling with losses from the inferno, was visibly touched by the gesture as he received the keys to the vehicle.
