Former U.S. President Barack Obama on Monday shared his much-anticipated summer playlist for 2024 on X (formerly Twitter).
The playlist, which has become an annual tradition, once again highlights Obama’s diverse musical tastes, featuring a wide array of genres and artists from around the globe.
This year’s playlist includes songs from two of Nigeria’s biggest music stars: Tems and Rema. Temsā track “Love Me Jeje” and Remaās “Yayo” are among the selected tunes that caught Obamaās ear this summer.
In his post, Obama remarked, “With summer winding down, I wanted to share some songs that Iāve been listening to lately ā and it wouldnāt be my playlist if it didnāt include an eclectic mix. I hope you find something new to listen to!”
