Many claimed that the just concluded U.S election was a battle of choosing between two devils. But of all candidates that ran for the post of U.S presidency, Trump was the most controversial figure. Despite this, some public figures still decided to be Trump’s supporters.
His actions have labeled him as a racist and as if that is not enough, he has a criminal history. Donald Trump as President didn’t appeal to so many folks especially the GenZs, he planned to reform so many structures considered as āwokeā.
Trump did not have a lot of supporters compared to Kamala Harris but at the end, it does not matter the quantity of your supporters but the quantity and influence they carry. Trump had few popular figures stand at his back, but the influence they had was weighty.
The mighty men who supported Trump did not care about what the public had to say. They continued to share undying support for the just elected President. Some critics claimed that most of Trump’s supporters supported him because of the policies he will implement to favor their business and career. Well, isn’t that the purpose of the election? Choosing a candidate you relate to the most.
Elon Musk
Of all of Trump’s supporters, Elon Musk is the weightiest of them all. Elon Musk stood from behind Trump using his tweeting app, X as a platform to campaign for Trump. Apart from this, Elon hosted X spaces and did about a $1 million giveaway.
āMusk has indeed played an outsized role in Trumpās comeback, not only pumping millions of dollars into Trumpās campaign but also serving as a policy advisor and promoter, effectively turning his X social media platform into a Make America Great Again (MAGA) mouthpiece.ā – Al Jazeera
