A comparison between Arsenal winger Bukayo Saka and Premier League legend Ryan Giggs has sparked debate on social media.
The controversial debate on social media app X started in the wee hours of Thursday, 28th March and has continued up till the time of filing this report.
According to @PaxTheGOAT posted on X:
“Bukayo Saka has already beaten Ryan Giggs best ever Premier League season with ten games to spare. Heās just 22, the other fraud is 56 years old. Premier League legend?š¤£ #afc”
This user then posted a picture of both individuals with certain stats. The stats shows Saka’s goals and assists for the 2023/24 Premier League season. He compared it with Giggs’ best ever season in terms of goals and assists.

So far this term, the England winger has racked up 13 goals and 8 assists in 27 games. The former Wales speedster meanwhile accrued 13 goals and 7 assists in 38 games in the 1993/94 Premier League season.
Giggs made a total of 632 Premier League appearances, scoring 109 goals. He also created 162 assists (the most in EPL history) throughout his successful 23 years with Manchester United.
The 50-year-old won 13 Premier League titles, the FA Cup four times, and the UEFA Champions League twice.
Meanwhile Bukayo Saka received the Men’s Young Player of the Year award at the 2023 London Football Awards. He was awarded the Premier League Academy Graduate Award for the 2021/22 season.
The 22-year-old has won the FA Cup once and has two FA Community Shield awards. He was named in the 2022/23 Premier League season.
