Victory emerges winner of Nigerian Idol Season 8, grabs N100M grand prize

Victory Gbakara has emerged winner of the 2023 Nigerian Idol edition.

This is the 8th edition of the Nigerian music talent show.

Victory who hails from Delta state grabbed the N100 million grand prize at the conclusion of the competition on Sunday, July 16.

He defeated Precious Mac to clinch the N100 million grand prize, part of which is N35 million in cash and a brand new car.

The prize also includes a music record deal and a video shoot.

Speaking shortly after emerging victorious, Victory thanked his fans for their support, stressing that they made his victory possible.

He said, “I don’t know what to say. But I want to say thank you. You made this happened.

“Thank you all so much. I love you. Thank you for making my dream come true.”
