Nigeria is one country that glories in hailing her celebrities. Constantly, we idolise them. If they are doing well, we heap praises on them. However, when they “mess up”, we deal with them amicably. They are usually a thread for discussion either for their good looks or simply for their good works. That notwithstanding has not deterred us from criticising our Nigerian celebrities when necessary.
Some Nigerian celebrities who are mixed race have often been embraced by Nigerians. Meanwhile, their other country of origin has little or nothing to benefit from their talent as much as Nigerian do.
Below is a list of ten Nigerian celebrities that are bi-racial.
1. Adunni Ade
Adunni is a 44-year-old actress who was raised in Lagos and the United States. Her mother is German-Irish and her father has her Nigerian origin.
She started her education in Lagos and Ogun states. According to Ade, her father was a major inspiration for her to study Accounting. In 2008, she bagged a degree in accounting at the University of Kentucky.
2. Ramsey Nouah
Ramsey Tokunbo Nouah Jr. is a 49-year-old actor and director. The famous director of Living in Bondage: Breaking Free (2019) won Best Actor, Africa Movie Academy Awards in 2010. His mother is from Ondo State, Nigeria while his father is from Israel. He has a diploma in mass communications at the University of Lagos.

3. Shan George
Shan George is a 50-year-old actress, singer, filmmaker. She was born in Cross River state to a British father and a Nigerian mother. She has featured in movies such as Thorns of Rose, Outcast, and Welcome to Nollywood. The mother of two is a graduate of Mass Communication, University of Lagos.
4. Leon Balogun
Balogun is a Nigerian footballer born in Berlin, West Germany. His mother is German while his father is Nigerian. He is fluent in English and German. In 2019, Balogun made mention of the need for players to speak against racism in football. He was a part of the Nigerian team that came third at the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations.
5. Caroline Danjuma
Caroline Danjuma, nee Ekanem, is a Nigerian actress. Her mother is Nigerian while her father is from Scotland. She is a graduate of environmental protection management, geography and regional planning from the University of Calabar. is an alumnus of Edinburgh Business School. She was married to Musa Danjuma, and they had three children together.
6. Daddy Freeze
Daddy Freeze is a radio presenter and media personality with 24 years of experience as a broadcaster. The controversial broadcaster whose real name is Ifedayo Olarinde was born on 6 May 1976, in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
He bagged a degree in Sociology from the University of Ibadan. Also, his mother is Romanian while his father is a Nigerian.
7. Nneka Egbuna
Nneka Egbuna is a German-Nigerian songstress and actress. She was born in Warri, Delta state on December 24, 1980. She plays musical instruments such as the guitar, drum, and piano. Besides, she has her singing style in Afrobeat, hip hop, R&B, and reggae. Her mother is German while her father is Nigerian.
8. Ade Bantu
Adegoke Odukoya, popularly known as Ade Bantu is a musician, producer, and social activist. He was born on July 14, 1971 in Wembley, London to a Nigerian father and a German mother.
He heads the band BANTU. Also, he is the creator of the Afro-German musical collective, Brothers Keepers. In 2005, Kora Award (the Pan-African equivalent of the Grammy) awarded his band, BANTU, for their album Fuji Satisfaction in 2005.
9. Eku Edewor
Georgina Chloe Eku Edewor-Thorley, better known as Eku Edewor is a model, television presenter, and actress. She was born on 18 December 1986 to a Nigerian mother from Delta state and British father.
She was raised in Nigeria and the United Kingdom. More so, the mother of one is a graduate of English Literature and Theatre Studies from Warwick University in Coventry, England in 2008. She also did a three-month acting course in 2009 at the New York Film Academy.
10. Osaze Odemwingie
Odemwingie is a footballer who made his debut for the Nigerian national team in May 2002, in a friendly against Kenya. He has represented Nigeria at two World Cups, and a four Africa Cup of Nations.
Also, he was part of the team that won Silver at the 2008 Olympics. His mother is from Russia while his father is from Edo state, Nigeria. His honors include Premier League Player of the Month: September 2010, April 2011, and February 2012.
