Popular businessman, Tony Elumelu has reiterated the call for constant electricity supply, saying it is critical to Nigeria’s development.
The National Grid went down a few days ago, leaving many parts of the country in total darkness. This in turn affected many businesses that rely on power for survival.
He also stated that in light of the insecurity challenges, there is a need for leaders that can deliver ahead of the 2023 election.
Elumelu, who is the Chairman of United Bank for Africa (UBA) took to his Twitter page to analyse how lack of power has been affected Nigerians with over 90 percent of the population living in abject poverty.
