7 healthy meals for people who do not want to lose weight


Are you tired of being bombarded with weight loss recipes when you check the web for healthy meals? If you are just looking for healthy meal ideas to enjoy without added pressure, this is for you.

1. Strawberry smoothie

This can be made on the go, in ten minutes or less. All you can need are bananas, strawberries, milk and yoghurt. Blend all together in a blender. For that extra crunch, add in some almonds.

2. Chicken thigh soup

Picture this; itā€™s a rainy day and you canā€™t decide what to cook. You can never go wrong with soup! This soup packs in carrots, scotch bonnet peppers, ginger, garlic and the main ingredient, chicken thighs.

3. Bone broth

All you need to make this savoury soup are vegetables; broccoli, onions, cauliflower, carrots and bones. Allow bones to cook, add in vegetables then flour to thicken. There you have it; a meal packed with all the nutrients you need.

4. Chicken salad

Eat the rainbow in this delicious meal and whatā€™s more; you get to have it with chicken.

5. Black eyed peas porridge

While not an easy meal to cook, itā€™s quite filling and tasty. Tip: cook the beans while you do something that takes your mind off the meal, like cleaning or journaling.

6. Rice with vegetable soup

Iā€™m sure by now you must be panicky, asking, ā€œwhereā€™s the rice?ā€ ā€œwhereā€™s the rice?ā€ Well, here it is. Vegetable soup can be prepare with either palm or vegetable oil.

7. Pam-grilled chicken breast(s) with potatoes

Homemade grills are a good way to cut down on excess oil consumed by eating takeouts. With this, you get to control how much oil or salt you want in the meal.
