A lot of members are malicious – Carter Efe reveals why he stopped attending church

Popular content creator Cater Efe has shared the reasons behind his decision to stop attending church.

In a recent appearance on The Honest Bunch Podcast, Cater Efe said he was once a regular churchgoer but began to question the intentions of some Christians after fellow skitmaker Sidney gave him guidance that felt harmful.

Sidney reportedly suggested that Cater Efe quit streaming and asked him to part ways with his streaming partner Kolu for just one million naira.

Cater Efe described this advice as troubling and said it changed how he views church members.

The skitmaker also recalled being advised by Sidney that Kolu’s former boss, Portable, could use juju to harm him, which made the suggestion to discharge Kolu even more concerning.

Cater Efe refused the advice and chose to strengthen his friendship with Kolu instead.

He said he was surprised that someone who attends church regularly would fear juju and give such guidance.

Cater Efe added that he went through months of depression before streaming, feeling pressured as skit making declined in popularity.

“I used to go to church but I stopped because I noticed that a lot of churchgoers are very malicious. For example, Sidney Talker goes to church consistently yet he advised me to quit streaming. I see that as malicious advice.

“He has even advised me before to discharge Kolu with 1 million naira but I refused. That was when I decided to make Kolu my best friend. He said that I should discharge Kolu because his former boss Portable has juju and could attack me.

“I wonder why Sidney Talker is afraid of juju despite his consistency in church. I was surprised by his advice because I was beginning to gain traction and then suddenly he advised me to stop. What reason would you have to tell me to calm down? It seemed malicious to me,” he expressed.
