Aside from the pleasure and intimacy that sex brings, it offers many health benefits and reduce your risk of having some diseases.
According to study and health experts, having regular sex can cure and prevent you from having these five diseases.
1. Arthritis
The joint movements during sex can provide relief to those suffering from arthritis. Sex also stimulates the production of cortisone, which reduces inflammation, a common cause of joint pain. Dr. George E. Erlich, a specialist in arthritis based in Philadelphia, discovered that a significant majority, approximately 70 percent, of individuals living with arthritis indicated a reduction in their arthritic pain after having sex.
2. Migraines
Sexual activity can serve as a natural substitute for painkillers. It prompts the release of endorphins, the body’s natural painkillers, which can significantly reduce or even eliminate headaches, including migraines. According to a study published in 2001, engaging in sexual activity can effectively reduce migraine pain by approximately 30 percent, with 17.5 percent of the study’s participants reporting complete relief from migraine pain.

3. Depression
In addition to the immediate happiness that orgasms bring, sexual activity also releases chemicals that induce a calming effect on the body. Sperm contains serotonin, a natural antidepressant, which can have positive effects on emotional well-being. According to Professor Gordon Gallup, a psychologist from the State University of New York, there exists a substance within semen that can induce an antidepressant impact on women when engaged in sexual activity.
4. Heart Attack
Despite concerns about the physical exertion of sex, it can actually be good for your heart. In fitness terms, a session of sex is akin to walking a mile, and for women, the increased estrogen levels released can help combat heart-related diseases. This claim has been supported by Professor Peter Weissberg, medical director of the British Heart Foundation and Dr. Graham Jackson, President of the Sexual Dysfunction Association.
5. Prostate Cancer
Research and studies have shown that frequent ejaculation (at least five times a week) can prevent the risk of having prostate cancer in men later in life.
