Governor Ademola Adeleke of Osun State has reaffirmed his dedication to public service, crediting God and the people of the state as the foundation of his political journey and that of the Adeleke family.
He spoke at the 11th undergraduate and 7th postgraduate convocation ceremony of a university held on Sunday at its newly constructed stadium where he received an honorary Doctor of Science degree.
In his acceptance speech, he said the recognition served as a renewed challenge to intensify his efforts as a people-focused leader.
“This honour comes at a critical time for our administration and for Osun State. We have served diligently for nearly three years, proving that good governance is possible when guided by political will and genuine concern for the people,” he said.
Adeleke highlighted the achievements of his administration, noting that innovation, sacrifice, and creative thinking had driven progress across various sectors.
