Super Eagles and Sevilla duo Kelechi Iheanacho and Chidera Ejuke have both arrived Nigeria ahead of the AFCON qualifying game against Libya.
The Super Eagles will compete against the Mediterranean Knights on Friday and next Tuesday in Group D encounters of the qualifiers.
Iheanacho and Ejuke were absent when the Super Eagles team had their first training session on Tuesday evening. A total of 20 out of 23 invited players participated in the training session led by interim coach Austin Eguavoen.

Also on ground at the camp are assistant coaches, who are both locally based. While Daniel Ogunmodede oversees Remo Stars, his friend Fidelis Ilechukwu is the boss at Rangers Int’l FC of Enugu.
Earlier this week, Ejuke was announced as Sevilla‘s Player of the Month of September following a string of commendable performances. He has the highest dribbling success rate of any player in Europe’s top five leagues so far in the 2024/25 season.
Nigeria will play Libya at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo at 5pm on Friday while they face the same opponents at the Martyrs of Benina Stadium, Benghazi, Libya at 8pm next Tuesday, 15th February.
