Sam and Cas are British Nigerians and are popularly known as the OkanTwins who started their musical journey in Lagos Nigeria releasing their first single Ocean in November 2022.
They attended drama school in London with numerous training and professional experience in TV and film — now taking their performance skills onto the stage as they release their second single Demo worldwide.
Born in the London borough of Hackney in the United Kingdom, Sam, and Cas decided to embark on the challenging but intriguing success path to the Nigerian music industry.

The twins who have featured in Nollywood movies and some popular skits with top skit makers are now taking their musical prowess and talent onto a bigger stage by releasing their second single Demo worldwide.
Sam and Cas’s story differs from the saying, “A twin doesn’t go through life searching for their other half — were born with it”.
So when you come across the amazing twins giving a melodious vibe of sound, you have to sit back and enjoy the thrilling wave of a two-in-one musical performance added to the blend of the sounds and instruments in vogue.

Sam and Cas are what philosophers describe as a gifted mystery from God and there’s a must to have one and understand why it is proof that miracles do exist.
Sam and Cas Okanlawon are a duo to watch out for and likely to be the next big sensation looking to storm the bubbling Nigeria music industry with their naturally gifted musical aura as fans likened them to the legendary musical duo and African iconic twins P-square.
NRTC learnt that these angels are the definition of a premium package as not only are they talented as mere songwriters but a well acclimatized content creators in Nigeria.

Speaking about the DEMO, Sam, and Cas said it is an Afro-pop song about empowerment that tells people to stay true to themselves, stay focused whilst making the best decisions for themselves, and have fun whilst doing it.
“Any beat given, we can jump on it, any obstacle that comes our way, we’ll get through it. The meaning of DEMO is to feel confident about yourself, to keep your shoulders high, and to show people what you’ve got,” the twins said.
Sam and Cas further stated that with the impressive rate at which Afro-fusion is the talk of the town, fans should expect double synergy in the massive project.

“Time to put a worthy music on repeat. Don’t stop dancing. Double T as they are popularly called have upped their game and have constantly given their endearing fans something to be excited about.
“We decided to embark on our musical journey because of our particular interest in music which allows us the ability to creatively express ourselves in a new way.
“Living the British lifestyle is quite different from the hustling and bustling that life demands from a typical Nigerian living in the city of Lagos, but as usual the ever awesome duo have enjoyed diversified success not only in music but real success in movies, numerous training and professional experience in TV, Film and commercials in the UK and internationally (USA & Nigeria). A prodigy in art but legends in creative thinking make it easier for them to blend.”

The twins disclosed that they have worked with prominent celebrities in Naija like Nairamarley in the making “+44”, which gave fans a snippet of their acting prowess in Kunle Afolayan’s Citation (rewatch and see those beautiful social activists).
According to them, they have also been featured in the skits of famous content creators like Cute Abiola, Brainjotter, Slimcase, MC Lively, and the like. Give them a space or leave them on the stage.
“You know the best thing about twins, yeah you guessed right, they come in twos. Not only is the release of their latest single coming up but there is also a music collaboration with musical stars Duo Aly & Fila titled Somebody Loves.
