Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has appointed veteran journalist Kayode Fasua as the new Managing Director and Editor-in-Chief of Owena Press Ltd., publishers of The Hope newspaper.
In a statement issued by the Governorās Chief Press Secretary, Ebenezer Adeniyan, it was announced that Fasua’s appointment is effective immediately.
Mr Fasua, 53, brings 29 years of journalistic experience to the role, having previously served as Special Assistant on Media to Governor Adebayo Adefarati from 2002 to 2003.
He began his journalism career at The Hope newspaper in Akure as a reporter in 1996 and has since worked with notable media organisations, including The Punch, National Mirror, National Life, The Sun, and Tell magazine.

Governor Aiyedatiwa expressed confidence that Fasuaās extensive expertise would be instrumental in revitalizing Owena Press for greater efficiency and success.
He also extended his gratitude to the outgoing Managing Director, Sir Ademola Adetula, for his dedicated service and contributions to the companyās growth.
