Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, has reaffirmed his commitment to prioritizing healthcare services and infrastructure development if re-elected.

During his ongoing campaign for the upcoming governorship election, Aiyedatiwa assured residents that his administration would continue to focus on improving their quality of life.

Speaking during a visit to towns and villages in Ifedore Local Government Area on Thursday, the governor emphasized his dedication to delivering top-notch services.

At the palace of the monarch of Igbara Oke, Oba Adefarakammi Agbede, Aiyedatiwa pledged to address the community’s needs, especially in healthcare, road construction, and overall infrastructural development.

“We will not be distracted from providing the best for our people. Healthcare and infrastructure will remain priorities if we are given the mandate for a second term,” Aiyedatiwa stated.

In response, Oba Agbede raised key issues faced by the community, including poor road conditions and inadequate healthcare services.

He stressed the importance of rehabilitating the local road network, describing it as the community’s “lifeline,” vital for boosting economic activities.

The traditional ruler also pointed out that the Basic Health Centre lacked sufficient medical staff, calling for immediate intervention.

“We have been without a resident doctor for too long, leaving us vulnerable. We also face challenges with water supply and recurrent flooding, and we urge your administration to address these pressing concerns,” Agbede added.

Governor Aiyedatiwa assured the monarch and residents of his administration’s readiness to tackle these issues if given the opportunity to serve a second term.
