Aiyedatiwa’s senior aide resigns from position

Bode Obanla, who served as the Senior Special Assistant to the Ondo State Governor on Community Engagement (North), has stepped down from his position.

His resignation was made known in a letter addressed to Governor Lucky Orimisan Aiyedatiwa and dated July 16, 2025.

The resignation officially takes effect on July 17.

Obanla explained that he is leaving his role in government to concentrate fully on his expanding business, which now demands his complete attention.

He also confirmed that he had returned all government items in his possession, including the Hilux van assigned to his office.

These were handed over through the office of the SSA on Community Engagement (Central).

In the letter, Obanla appreciated the opportunity to serve and noted that the role helped him discover urgent needs across communities in the Northern Senatorial District.

He described his time in office as a rewarding experience and offered prayers for the governor’s continued leadership.
