The management of Nollywood actress and singer Angela Okorie has dismissed reports claiming that she was arrested again shortly after leaving the Suleja Correctional Centre.
In a statement issued on February 3, 2026, The Moving Train Entertainment, which handles the actress’s affairs, confirmed that Angela Okorie is currently free and moving about without any restriction.
The team explained that all bail terms given to her by the authorities have been fully met and completed.
The management described the reports circulating online about her alleged rearrest as false and capable of confusing the public.

“It has come to our attention that certain blogs have reported the re-arrest of singer & actress Angela Okorie.
“The management of Angela Okorie hereby clarify that she is currently free and has not been re-arrested as alleged. Her bail conditions have been met and finalized.
“These reports are inaccurate and misleading. We advise the public to rely only on verified and credible sources for information regarding this matter. Thank you”, the statement read.
Angela Okorie was first taken into custody on January 26, 2026, in Lagos before being moved to Abuja.
The arrest was linked to accusations of cyberstalking and cyberbullying following a petition reportedly submitted by fellow actress Mercy Johnson Okojie.
